The Butterfly Defenders

This illustration is a response to an article about the murders of Homero Gomez Gonzales and Raul Hernandez Romero. These men were both connected to a monarch butterfly reserve in Mexico, and that is believed to be the reason they were murdered. This seems unbelievably sad to me. They were trying to protect monarch habitat and they were killed for it. You can read more about the story here.
